Best rooms
Rooms on higher floors (8-10) are recommended, as they tend to be quieter due to being further away from the street noise on J Street. Additionally, rooms on the north side of the hotel may experience some noise from the adjacent buildings, but it's generally less than those on the south side, which faces the street.
Request a room on the 3rd or 4th floor facing the rear of the building (away from Alvarado Canyon Road). These upper floors minimise street noise and offer slightly better air circulation. The mid-building position reduces lift and corridor disturbance.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid rooms on the lower floors (1-3), especially those near the street-facing windows, as they may be more prone to noise from cars, pedestrians, and nearby bars.
Avoid rooms on the 1st floor, especially those near the lobby or front desk, as they get foot traffic and noise from the entrance and any on-site breakfast area. Rooms facing the front on floors 1-2 are directly exposed to Alvarado Canyon Road traffic.
