Avoid ground-floor rooms near the side entrance (used for step-free access) as foot traffic and door sounds will carry. Also avoid rooms directly adjacent to the lift on any floor — the narrow lift motor is audible in neighbouring walls.
Avoid rooms on the second floor directly above the reception and bar area — the bar stays open until late, and the lobby can be busy with luggage wheels and chatter. Also skip ground-floor rooms facing the street; Sucre's cobblestones amplify car and motorbike noise.
