Best rooms
Request an upper-floor room facing away from the main street, preferably on the third or fourth floor, for better views and less street noise.
Request top-floor rooms (floors 5–6) facing the lake. The upper floors minimise street-level noise and offer the best views over Puno to Titicaca.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid rooms on the second floor directly above the lobby or breakfast area, as they can suffer from early-morning noise from restaurant prep and foot traffic.
Avoid rooms on floors 1–2, especially those facing the street (the front side). Street noise from Puno’s traffic and late-night activity carries straight in. Also skip rooms near the lift on any floor—engine rumble and door chimes leak into adjacent rooms.
