Avoid rooms on the ground floor facing the street — they get direct noise from Rue du Commerce (motorbikes, market traffic, pedestrians). Also avoid the third floor if the lift is out of order; stairs can be steep.
Avoid ground-floor rooms near the reception and any room directly overlooking the side alley used for service deliveries. The ground floor also suffers from foot traffic noise.
