Best rooms
Request a room on a higher floor, ideally 5th or above, to minimize street noise from the main road. These rooms are also closer to the lift, making it more convenient for guests.
Request a room on floors 2 or 3 facing the rear courtyard. These are high enough to reduce street-level noise but still within easy stair access if the lift is busy. The courtyard side is quieter than the main road side.
Rooms to avoid
Rooms on the ground floor, especially those near the service entrance, may experience noise from deliveries and staff activity.
Avoid rooms on the ground floor — street noise from Encamp’s main road filters in, and foot traffic past reception can be bothersome. Also avoid rooms directly adjacent to the lift shaft; you’ll hear clanking and voices late into the evening.
