Best rooms
Request a room on floors 3 or 4, away from the stairwell and lift shaft, to reduce foot traffic noise. Floors 3 and 4 are high enough to avoid street-level disturbance but still within easy walking distance if the lift is busy.
Request a room on the 3rd or 4th floor at the rear of the building, away from the main road. These upper floors reduce street noise and offer slightly better air circulation.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid rooms on floor 1 (ground floor) — noise from the reception area, any bar or common room, and the front entrance will be constant. Also skip rooms directly beside the lift on any floor; the mechanism and conversation noise carry.
Avoid rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors facing the street – Barasat's main road can be busy with auto-rickshaws and local traffic. Also skip rooms near the lift shaft on any floor as the lift motor can be audible at night.
Wi-Fi
Free WiFi throughout. Speed adequate for browsing and messaging; may struggle with video streaming during peak evening hours. No login required.
Free for all guests, up to 10 Mbps, one device per room; login via room number and surname
Parking
Limited free on-site parking for 4 cars on a first-come, first-served basis. Nearest public car park is at Barasat Junction (0.5 km away), INR 50 per night. No EV charging.
Free on-site open parking for 20 cars (first-come, first-served); no valet or EV charging; nearest public car park is Barasat Municipal Parking (INR 50 per night)
