Stay off floor 1: noise from the lobby, reception, and any passing street traffic is unavoidable. Rooms at the front of the hotel, especially near the lift shaft, will pick up hall noise and lift motor hum.
Avoid rooms on the 1st floor or any room directly overlooking Jirón Puno. Ground-floor rooms pick up street noise from taxis and pedestrians. Rooms near the lift shaft on any floor can also be noisy, so ask for a room away from the elevator.
