Best rooms
Request a room on the 4th or 5th floor at the rear (south-facing side), away from the main street. These upper floors minimise street and lift noise, and the rear orientation avoids the busy road out front.
Request a room on the 5th or 6th floor, facing the inner courtyard rather than the street. These upper floors put you above most street-level noise and give a better chance of a quiet night.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid rooms on floors 1-2, especially those facing Cheonmasa-ro (the main street). Ground-floor rooms near the entrance or lobby pick up check-in bustle and foot traffic. Also skip rooms directly next to the lift shaft – the motor hum is audible at night.
Avoid rooms on the 2nd floor directly above the lobby or breakfast area, as foot traffic and clatter start early. Also skip rooms facing the front street—traffic noise can be intrusive, especially on lower floors.
