Request a room on the 3rd or 4th floor facing the inner courtyard (away from Huimin Street). These floors are high enough to avoid street-level bustle but low enough to use stairs quickly if the lift is busy. The courtyard side cuts out the clatter of the Muslim Quarter food stalls and motorbikes.

Request a room on floors 3-5 facing the inner courtyard. These floors avoid street noise but stay below any rooftop HVAC units. The courtyard side is quieter than the street-facing side at Xi'an address.
