Best rooms
Request rooms on the third floor or higher, facing away from Bamyan's main road to the south. These floors sit above street-level bustle and offer direct line of sight to the Bamyan cliffs if the hotel's north face allows.
Request a ground-floor room at the back side of the hotel, as it's a single-storey building with no lift. These rooms are farthest from the street and offer quieter conditions.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid first-floor and second-floor rooms, especially those at the front (street side). Street noise from passing traffic and pedestrians carries clearly here, and ground-level rooms lack privacy from walkers. Also skip rooms near the single staircase or lift shaft, where footfall and lift machinery sound carry through the thin 3-star construction.
Avoid rooms facing the street (front side) — Bamyan's main road can have early morning traffic and dust, plus pedestrian noise during market hours.
