Best rooms
Rooms ending in 01-08 face the interior courtyard — much quieter than street-facing ones. Top-floor rooms (11th or 12th) have higher ceilings and less foot traffic above.
Ask for an interior-facing room with a window onto the courtyard or lightwell. The rooms on the 6th to 10th floors in the rear wing (even-numbered rooms ending in 02–09) get the least street noise and some morning light.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid rooms 201-215: they sit directly above the lobby and bar, with noise until midnight. Also skip rooms ending in 09-16, which face the noisy 8th Avenue side.
Steer clear of rooms ending in 14–22, which are next to the lift shaft and housekeeping alcove. Also avoid ground-floor rooms and rooms on floors 2–3 – they pick up the full blast of lobby traffic and the occasional street disturbance.
Wi-Fi
Free basic Wi-Fi (up to 10 Mbps) for all guests; premium tier at $5/day gives 50 Mbps; no login — select hotel network on device.
