Best rooms
Request a room on floors 6–8, facing away from King Khalid Rd. These upper floors reduce street noise from the main road and offer a quieter stay. Free Wi-Fi is adequate for browsing at 5 Mbps.
Request a room on floors 10-15 with a direct view of the Masjid al-Haram. These mid-to-upper floors reduce street-level noise while keeping the lift wait manageable. The higher you go above 15, the longer the lift journeys during peak prayer times.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid rooms on floors 1–3 facing King Khalid Rd — you'll get traffic rumble from the main arterial road. Also skip rooms near lift lobbies on any floor: the four lifts serve all floors and generate constant door chimes and chatter.
Avoid rooms on floors 1-4. They are closest to the lobby, check-in area, and the main entry off Ibrahim Al Khalil Rd, which carries heavy traffic noise. Low-floor rooms may also have less of a view and more foot traffic.
