Best rooms
Request a room on a higher floor (above the 2nd floor) as the hotel is located on a main road (Wraik Hill) and rooms on lower floors may experience more traffic noise. Additionally, rooms on the south side (facing the sea) may be quieter than those on the north side due to the prevailing wind direction.
Opt for a room on the top floor (3rd or 4th) facing the rear, as these tend to be quieter and have a better view of the surrounding gardens and rooftops. Room numbers 301, 302, and 303 are highly recommended for their sea views and minimal street noise.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid rooms on the first floor, as they may be over the hotel's service entrance and could be subject to noise from staff and deliveries.
Rooms 101, 102, and 103 on the ground floor are best avoided, as they face the main road and can be quite noisy, especially during rush hour and late-night deliveries. Rooms 201, 202, and 203 on the first floor are also not ideal, as they're closer to the main street and can be noisy from the pubs and restaurants.
