Best rooms
Ask for a room ending in 06–12 on floors 4–7, rear-facing. These tend to be slightly larger and overlook the internal courtyard, cutting out most of the street noise. The building is an early-20th-century walk-up conversion, so windows are double-glazed but not soundproof.
Request a room on floors 5–8 facing the internal courtyard. These are quieter than street-facing rooms and often have more natural light. The Hoxton’s Williamsburg property uses an industrial loft layout, so higher floors avoid bar noise from the ground floor lobby and restaurant.
Rooms to avoid
Rooms ending in 01–05 on floors 2–3, facing the street. They pick up direct traffic noise from the avenue, especially delivery trucks at 5am. Also avoid rooms on the 1st floor entirely – the lobby and stairwell noise carry badly, and the windows are at pavement level.
Avoid any room ending in '01' or '02' on floors 2–4; these are directly above the bar and restaurant, with muffled music until midnight on weekends. Also skip rooms facing Wythe Avenue or North 10th Street—truck traffic and delivery noise starts around 6 a.m.

Free basic Wi-Fi (up to 5 Mbps) for all guests; premium tier at $9.95/day (25 Mbps). Login requires room number and last name; no time limit.
