Best rooms
Request a room on the 3rd or 4th floor facing the interior courtyard (south side). These floors are high enough to avoid ground-level street noise yet low enough for quick stair access if the lift queue builds. The courtyard side is quieter than the north street-facing rooms.
Request a room on the 3rd or 4th floor facing the inner courtyard (away from Huimin Street). These floors are high enough to avoid street-level bustle but low enough to use stairs quickly if the lift is busy. The courtyard side cuts out the clatter of the Muslim Quarter food stalls and motorbikes.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors facing north (towards the main street). Expect traffic rumble from the road outside, plus any lobby or restaurant noise from below. Also skip rooms next to the lift shaft on any floor — the service lift can be clunky and noisy at night.
Avoid rooms on the 1st floor — you'll get noise from the lobby, reception footfall, and possibly the small front desk area where guests gather. Also avoid rooms directly overlooking Huimin Street, especially on the 2nd floor: street food vendors start early and run late, with sizzling, chatter, and occasional shouting.
Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi for all guests; claimed speed 50 Mbps down/20 Mbps up; logs are active, and you need to re-login every 24 hours with your room number.
Free Wi-Fi throughout; average download speed 15 Mbps, adequate for browsing and streaming but not for video conferencing. No login, just select the network and accept terms.

No on-site parking. The nearest public car park is 'Lianhu Parking Plaza' on Beiyuanmen Road, 300 m east, costing CNY 5 per hour or CNY 40 overnight. No EV charging.
