Best rooms
Request a room on the third or fourth floor facing the inner courtyard. These are above street level, reducing road noise, and the courtyard side is quieter than the front. Upper floors also benefit from less foot traffic from the ground-floor entrance.
Request a room on floors 2 or 3 at the rear of the building (facing away from RN 26). These upper floors reduce street noise and avoid ground-floor bustle.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid ground-floor rooms near the reception or any common area — they will pick up lobby noise and street-level disturbance if facing the road. Also avoid rooms directly above the entrance or any service door, likely at the back or side of the ground floor.
Skip ground-floor rooms (Room 1xx) and any front-facing rooms on floor 1 facing RN 26. The main road can be loud with truck and motorcycle traffic, especially morning and evening.
