Request a room on the second or third floor facing the rear courtyard. The lift is small and slow, so being on these floors keeps you above street hubbub but not too far to walk if the lift is busy. The back-side rooms are quieter as they overlook the interior courtyard rather than the main road.

Request a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor facing the inner courtyard or the side street away from the main road. These floors have less footfall in the lobby area and the courtyard side is quieter than the front. The 3rd floor is typically the top floor in a 3-star Kyrenia hotel, so you get less overhead noise from other guests.

Avoid rooms on the first floor facing Dr. Fazıl Küçük Caddesi. The street has steady traffic (cars, scooters, occasional buses) from early morning until late evening, and the first floor gets the full force of that noise. Also avoid rooms next to the lift shaft on any floor — it clanks audibly at all hours.

Avoid rooms on the ground floor — they are closest to the street and the lift lobby, and can pick up noise from check-in queues and door slams. Avoid rooms overlooking the main street: Kyrenia's road traffic (especially scooters and delivery vans) can be loud until late. Also skip rooms directly opposite the lift shaft — the chime and door sounds travel through thin walls.
