Best rooms
Ground-floor rooms are the best option at Casa de Magaly, as they offer reliable Wi-Fi and easier access to the lobby. If you're a light sleeper, request a room on the north side of the building, as San Francisco Street can be busy and noisy.
Request a high floor (4th or 5th) facing the inner courtyard. These rooms are furthest from street noise and the lift shaft. Rooms on the Paseo de Martí side on floor 4-5 get some street din but have good light; the courtyard is quieter.
Rooms to avoid
Upper floors are best avoided, especially if you have mobility issues, as they're only accessible by stairs and may lose Wi-Fi signal.
Avoid any room on floor 1 or 2, especially those overlooking Paseo de Martí. Pedestrian and traffic noise from the busy Prado boulevard is constant, and the ground-floor bar/restaurant can bleed sound. Also avoid rooms next to the old lift shaft – it clanks.
