Best rooms
Request a room on the third floor (the top floor) to minimise footfall noise from above. If available, rooms facing the inner courtyard or rear of the building will be quieter than those overlooking the street.
Request a room on the ground floor (lower level) due to the lack of a lift and narrow bathroom doorways. This floor has the most accessible rooms, although keep in mind the main entrance has two steps and no ramp.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid rooms on the ground floor (street level) as they are most exposed to street noise and passers-by. Also avoid rooms directly next to the open stairwell (if there is one) or near any ground-floor common areas like the reception or dining room.
Avoid rooms on the second floor as they require navigating stairs, and there's no lift. Also, be aware that the narrow bathroom doorways on the ground floor might be a challenge for those with mobility issues.
