Avoid rooms on floor 1 and those at the front of the building facing the street. Floor 1 gets noise from the lobby, breakfast area, and any passing traffic on the pavement. Front-facing rooms here are directly exposed to Rua Desembargador Paula Mota – a residential through-street with buses and motorbikes during peak hours.

Avoid rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors, especially those facing Rua da Bahia — traffic noise from this one-way arterial street starts early (6am) and continues past 10pm. Lower floors also get exhaust fumes and less natural light. Skip any room near the lift shaft on any floor: the lift is old and clatters loudly.
