Best rooms

Request a room on the higher floors (above 4th floor) on the north side of the hotel. These rooms are less likely to get direct sunlight and have a better chance of avoiding street noise, which can be a concern given the hotel's location in the heart of Ocho Rios. Although the hotel has a lift, it's a good idea to request a room on the higher floors to minimize potential noise from the lift and other guests.

Request a high-floor room on the hillside (south) side of the hotel. Floors 5 and above in the main block get the ocean view and are furthest from the street noise on Mammee Estate Road.

Rooms to avoid

Avoid rooms near the lift, especially on lower floors, as they may be noisier due to frequent usage. Room numbers in the 100s might be closer to the service entrance and could be noisier as a result.

Avoid low-floor rooms on the north or west sides facing Mammee Estate Road – that's the main access road to the resort corridor and can have early-morning traffic and coach drop-off noise. Also skip rooms near the lobby or bar areas on the ground and first floors.
