Request a room on the higher floors (above 4th floor) on the north side of the hotel. These rooms are less likely to get direct sunlight and have a better chance of avoiding street noise, which can be a concern given the hotel's location in the heart of Ocho Rios. Although the hotel has a lift, it's a good idea to request a room on the higher floors to minimize potential noise from the lift and other guests.

Request a room on floors 3 or 4 facing the pool/garden side (east), away from DaCosta Drive. These upper floors reduce footfall noise from the lobby and restaurant below.

Rooms to avoid

Avoid rooms near the lift, especially on lower floors, as they may be noisier due to frequent usage. Room numbers in the 100s might be closer to the service entrance and could be noisier as a result.

Avoid rooms on floor 1 (street-level reception noise, and service traffic from the driveway) and rooms facing DaCosta Drive — that main road carries through-traffic for Ocho Rios including taxis and tour buses.
