Best rooms
Rooms at the back of the hotel, particularly those on the 2nd and 3rd floors, tend to be quieter, as they face a car park or a garden area. These rooms also receive natural light from the east and west, providing a pleasant ambiance.
Opt for rooms facing the north or east side of the building to avoid direct sunlight and potential street noise. Room 217 and 318 in the main building offer partial ocean views and are a bit further from the highway.
Rooms to avoid
Rooms facing the Pacific Highway (Marshall-Walker St) can be noisy, especially during peak hours when traffic volume is high. These rooms are usually on the lower floors (1st and 2nd) and have views of the highway.
Steer clear of rooms 104, 105, and 106 in the annex building, as they're closer to the main road and can be noisier. Room 203 in the main building is also not recommended due to the adjacent bar and restaurant.
