Avoid ground-floor rooms near the lobby or breakfast area, as they pick up early-morning noise from luggage wheels, staff, and guests chatting. Also avoid rooms directly above the bar (closes around 11 PM) if you're a light sleeper.
Avoid rooms on the ground floor (especially near the reception or breakfast area) and any room facing the main street (Rue de la Poste). Ground floor can get foot traffic and early kitchen clatter; street-facing rooms pick up delivery vans and passers-by.
