Best rooms
Request a high-floor room on the river-facing side of the building. Floors 6-9 offer better views over the Mersey and less street noise from Chapel Street. The south-west corner rooms get the best light and views across the water towards the Wirral.
Request a room on a higher floor (above 5th floor) for a quieter stay, as the lower floors may receive more street noise from Hanover Street. Consider a room at the back of the hotel, away from the street, for even less disturbance.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid rooms on floors 1-3 facing Chapel Street. The dual carriageway runs directly outside, and traffic noise is constant, especially during morning and evening rush hours. Also skip rooms near the lift bank on any floor, as the lift motor and door chimes can be disruptive.
Rooms on the lower floors (1st to 3rd) may be noisier due to street traffic, and those near the service entrance might experience more noise from deliveries and staff activity.
