Best rooms
Request ground-floor bungalows near the reception and pool area; these are the most recently renovated units with air conditioning and direct garden access. The original camping layout means upper-floor rooms in the main block can have low ceilings and no lift.
Request a room on the second or third floor at the back of the building (courtyard side) to avoid street noise and get better air circulation.
Rooms to avoid
Skip rooms near the generator shed (audible at night) and those backing onto the perimeter wall facing Avenue Bassawarga – traffic noise from the avenue carries. Avoid the older tent-style rooms with shared bathroom blocks; they’re the cheapest but often run-down and noisy.
Avoid rooms on the first floor facing the street – they pick up dust, exhaust fumes, and noise from motorbikes and late-night street activity.
