Rooms to avoid
Avoid odd-numbered rooms on the lower floors (1st and 2nd) facing the street. The road is a through route, and rooms directly above the entrance entrance can pick up noise from the front door and the pavement cafe (if present). Also skip rooms near the lift shaft on any floor – the clatter of the old elevator can be audible.
Avoid ground-floor rooms near the bar and dining area – noise from service and guests carries directly. Also steer clear of rooms on the side of the parking spaces (front) as cars crunch gravel and departing parties create morning chatter.
