Best rooms
Request a room on the first floor or above facing the rear garden or car park – these are set back from Faversham Road, which can carry local traffic noise. First-floor rooms also avoid ground-floor damp and passers-by.
Opt for a room on the top floor (3rd or 4th) facing the rear, as these tend to be quieter and have a better view of the surrounding gardens and rooftops. Room numbers 301, 302, and 303 are highly recommended for their sea views and minimal street noise.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid ground-floor rooms facing Faversham Road – these are closest to the street and pick up early-morning delivery trucks and passing cars. Also avoid rooms near the main entrance or reception, as they can hear the front door and hallway chatter.
Rooms 101, 102, and 103 on the ground floor are best avoided, as they face the main road and can be quite noisy, especially during rush hour and late-night deliveries. Rooms 201, 202, and 203 on the first floor are also not ideal, as they're closer to the main street and can be noisy from the pubs and restaurants.
