Best rooms
Request a room on the 3rd or 4th floor facing the inner courtyard. These floors sit above standard street noise but are still easily reachable via the lift. The courtyard side avoids the tram rumble from Lublaňská.
Request a room on floors 2-4, facing the internal courtyard. These are high enough to avoid ground-level bustle but well below the roof, where service machinery or staff areas might cause noise. The courtyard orientation cuts street noise from the front of the building.
Rooms to avoid
Steer clear of rooms overlooking Lublaňská, especially those on the 1st and 2nd floors. The street carries trams and delivery vehicles well into the evening. Also avoid rooms directly next to the lift shaft or service stairwell – doors slam and the lift motor hums, audible on any floor.
Avoid rooms on the ground floor (street noise, foot traffic, possible service entrance proximity) and the top floor (heat in summer, potential roof-structure noise). Also avoid any room facing the main street, as Prague traffic and pedestrians can be loud.
