Best rooms
Request a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor facing the courtyard or rear of the building. These floors are high enough to catch some light but low enough to avoid mechanical noise from any roof equipment, and the rear orientation cuts street noise from the main road.
Request a room on a higher floor (above 10th floor) for a quieter stay, as these rooms are likely to be farther from the street noise. Additionally, rooms on the east side of the hotel may offer better natural light and views of the city.
Rooms to avoid
Avoid rooms on the 1st floor or directly above the lobby — they’ll get foot traffic noise and possibly kitchen sounds if there’s a restaurant. Also skip rooms facing the street on low floors (1st–2nd) because Algiers has busy roads with cars and motorcycles.
Avoid rooms near the service entrance or lift (elevators) areas, as these can be noisy, especially during peak hours.
