Deeper Into Busan

Gamcheon Culture Village

Colourful hillside village with twisting alleys, art installations, and watched-over stairways. Walk the main route and see the 'Little Prince' statue overlooking the port.

💡 Go early (before 9am) to avoid crowds and the heat. The village shops don't open until 10am, but you get the place almost to yourself.

Dongbaek Island Walk

Flat 1.5km coastal path around a small island connected to Haeundae beach. Walk past the APEC Nurimaru House, through pine trees, and get good views of Gwangan Bridge.

💡 Do it at sunset for the bridge lights. Start from the Haeundae end, finish at the lighthouse, then walk back along the beach. Takes 45 minutes at a steady pace.

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple

Busan Metro Line 2 & Line 1 (Airport → Seomyeon → Centum City) From 4500 50 min

From airport, take bus 307 or taxi to Sasang Station (Line 2). Then ride Line 2 to Centum City. A T-money card saves time and cost—buy at any convenience store.

Standard Local Taxi (for short hops) From 7000 10 min

Download KakaoTaxi app in advance—it accepts foreign cards. For Haeundae, ask driver to take the Gwangan Bridge route to avoid traffic on weekends.
