Things to Do in Bondowoso

The main town square with a grassy field, a large fountain, and rows of tamarind trees. A communal space for relaxing and street food at night.

A small public park in the town centre with a pond, fountains, and shaded benches. Popular for evening walks and local gatherings.

💡 Come around 5pm for the cooler air and watch kids flying kites. There's a food cart selling es dawet (palm sugar ice drink) nearby.

A local heritage museum housed in a colonial building, displaying traditional farming tools, batik, and historical photos of the regency.

💡 It's small – takes 30 minutes max. Ask the guard to open the back room for old maps. Donations welcome but not required.
