Getting Around Bielefeld
Take the S1 from PAD airport bus stop to Bielefeld Hbf, then a 10-minute walk or tram 1/2 to Johannisberg stop. Cheaper than taxis but allow 90 mins total.
Buy a 24h single ticket (€6.90) if making multiple trips. Johannisberg stop is one block from the hotel. Trams run until 1am, but night buses are scarce.
Bus 31 stops directly opposite the hotel on Johannisberg. Avoid it during rush hour (07:30–09:00, 16:00–18:00) as it gets packed with students.
Flat-rate airport transfer from PAD to Johannisberg costs about €90. For 3+ people, this can be cheaper than train tickets. Negotiate upfront.
