Getting Around Bhavnagar
Bus #5 or #7 from the depot. Get off at the temple stop and walk east — Vraj Vihar is on the corner. A quicker alternative: shared auto from the depot for ₹20 per person.
Book at the prepaid counter inside arrivals. Avoid haggling on meter taxis — standard fare to the hotel via Station Road is ₹300-350.
Only useful if coming via the narrow-gauge line from Palitana. Para station is walkable but unlit after dark — take a rickshaw for ₹30 instead.
Bhavnagar has spotty Ola coverage. Use the local 'Auto Rickshaw Union' number (ask hotel reception): fixed fare between districts, no meter games. To the hotel from the railway station, ₹60 standard.
