Best Time to Visit Tollo
Tollo, on Abruzzo's Adriatic coast, sees hot summers, mild springs and autumns, and cool, damp winters. The town is quiet year-round, with tourism peaking only in August when Italians take their beach holidays.

Sagra del Vino (first week of August): Tollo's wine fair celebrating Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Also, Fiera di San Rocco (16-18 August): a traditional polenta festival with live music.

Pack a light jacket and an umbrella even in summer: afternoon thunderstorms can come out of nowhere in June and July.
