Best Time to Visit Seririt
Seririt sits on Bali’s north coast, with a drier, less humid climate than the south. The town is a quiet base for exploring Pemuteran, Menjangan Island, and the West Bali National Park, and the weather is most cooperative between April and October.
✦ Go in May or September: dry weather, uncrowded sites, and the best value for accommodation.
✅ Best months
April to June: the dry season is fully established, skies are clear, the sea is calm for snorkelling, and tourism hasn’t peaked yet. September also offers excellent conditions with fewer travellers than July–August.
🔥 Peak season
July and August: European summer holidays push hotel occupancy high. Standard rooms in the area can double in price, and the main road along the coast gets busier with hire cars and tour buses. No major local events drive this—it’s purely inbound tourism.
💷 Shoulder (best value)
May and June, then September. Hotels often drop rates 15–25% below peak, the weather is still dry, and you’ll have space on dive boats and at national park entry points.
🌙 Quietest & cheapest
January and February: the wettest months, with frequent afternoon downpours and higher humidity. Some restaurants and guesthouses close for the owners’ holidays. Hotel prices can fall 30–40%, but you’ll risk cancelled boat trips and washed-out hiking trails.
Seririt season by season
Spring (Mar–May)
Weather: 26–33°C, humidity drops through March, almost no rain by May
Crowds: low
Best window for hiking the national park before the heat builds.
Summer (Jun–Aug)
Weather: 24–32°C, dry, steady easterly winds
Crowds: high
Prime for diving Menjangan Island: visibility often 25m+.
Autumn (Sep–Nov)
Weather: 25–33°C, September dry, October transitioning to heavier showers, November wet
Crowds: low in Oct–Nov
September is ideal; by November many roads to waterfalls turn muddy.
Winter (Dec–Feb)
Weather: 24–31°C, high humidity, December–February is the monsoon peak
Crowds: very low
Good only if your schedule is flexible; many attractions close or operate reduced hours.
🎭 Events worth timing a trip around
Bali Arts Festival (June–July): though based in Denpasar, many Seririt hotels run shuttle services for day trips. Pujawali at Pura Pulaki (usually August): a temple ceremony near Seririt with processions and traditional gamelan—check local dates, as they follow the Balinese calendar.
🧳 What to pack
Pack a light rain jacket or poncho even in the dry season: sudden coastal squalls in the pre-dawn hours are common, and you’ll want it for early-morning boat trips to Menjangan.
