Best Time to Visit Rawai
Rawai, on Phuket’s southern tip, has a tropical monsoon climate with distinct wet and dry seasons. The best weather runs from December to March, but this also brings peak prices. The rest of the year involves trade-offs between rain, heat, and smaller crowds.

Phuket King’s Cup Regatta (early December) draws sailing enthusiasts. The Phuket Vegetarian Festival (late September/October) is a dramatic, nine-day Taoist event with processions and fire walking, centred in Phuket Town but often spilling into Rawai’s seafood restaurants.
