Best Time to Visit Qəmərvan
Qəmərvan sits in the Ismayilli region at around 1,200m, so it's cooler than Baku but not alpine. Spring and autumn give you the best balance of comfortable temperatures and quiet trails.
✦ Go in May or September for the best weather and fewest tourists.
✅ Best months
May and September: warm days (20–25°C), low rain, and the forests are at their greenest or turning gold. Crowds are thin outside local holidays.
🔥 Peak season
July–August: school holidays bring Azerbaijani families; hotel rates jump 30–50%. The monthly music festival in August also draws crowds.
💷 Shoulder (best value)
Late April and early October: 20% cheaper rooms, 15–20°C, still dry enough for hiking. A few cafés close, but it's peaceful.
🌙 Quietest & cheapest
December–February: temperatures hover around 0°C; snow can block mountain roads. Only a couple of guesthouses stay open, but you'll have the place to yourself.
