Turkey
Best Time to Visit Belek
Belek, on Turkey's Mediterranean coast, has a classic hot-summer Mediterranean climate. Tourism peaks hard in July and August, when the beach resorts are full, but the best balance of heat and quiet comes in late spring and early autumn.
✦ Go in May or September for the best combination of reliably hot but not punishing weather, fewer crowds, and fair hotel rates.
✅ Best months
May and September: daytime temperatures sit in the mid-to-high 20s °C, the sea is warm enough for swimming, and the big summer crowds haven't arrived or have just left. Hotel prices are noticeably lower than in peak months.
🔥 Peak season
July and August. Daytime highs regularly hit 35–40 °C. Hotels sell out weeks ahead; prices double or triple versus spring. The only major event is the general summer holiday season, with Turkish families and European package tourists filling the beach clubs and golf courses (which stay open year-round).
💷 Shoulder (best value)
April, October, and November. Daytime temps in April are around 20 °C; October is still 27–28 °C. November cools to 18–20 °C but stays dry. Hotel rates drop 30–50% from peak. Fewer crowds, quieter beaches.
🌙 Quietest & cheapest
December to February. Daytime highs average 13–16 °C; nights can drop to 5–8 °C. Many beachfront restaurants and bars close. Rain is more frequent (about 6–8 days per month). Hotel prices are the year's lowest, but you'll mainly get golfers using the championship courses and a handful of winter-sun seekers.
