Best Time to Visit Arossim
Arossim, just south of Goa's airport, has a tropical monsoon climate. The best time to visit is the dry season, November to March, when the weather is reliably sunny and the sea is calm enough for swimming.
✦ Go in December or January for perfect beach weather, or November/March for a quieter, cheaper trip with still-great conditions.
✅ Best months
December through February are ideal: low humidity, clear skies, daytime temperatures around 28-32°C. Crowds are moderate; Christmas and New Year spike numbers, but the weeks either side are pleasantly busy without being overwhelming.
🔥 Peak season
December and January are peak. Christmas, New Year and the Feast of the Three Kings (early January) fill hotels. Prices double or triple; book three months ahead if you want a beachfront room.
💷 Shoulder (best value)
November and March are excellent budget shoulders. In November, the monsoon has just ended – beaches are clean and green. March sees fewer tourists but still good weather; hotel rates drop 30-40% versus January.
🌙 Quietest & cheapest
June to September is the monsoon season. Heavy rain, rough seas and many beach shacks shut. Cheapest deals of the year, but expect muggy heat and daily downpours. Not recommended for sunseekers.

🧳 What to pack
Pack a light rain jacket or umbrella even in the dry season; a short, sharp shower can roll in from the sea any time between November and March.
