Best Time to Visit Alwar
Alwar sits in a semi-arid zone of Rajasthan, so the weather dictates when it's enjoyable to explore its fort and Sariska Tiger Reserve. Summers are punishingly hot, winters pleasantly cool, and the monsoon brings sporadic rain and humidity. The ideal window is the dry, mild winter.

October to March: days are warm (20–30°C), nights cool, and humidity low. It's also the main tourist season, but Alwar is less crowded than Jaipur or Udaipur, so you get manageable numbers.

December–January: peak winter with Christmas and New Year holidays. Hotels can be 30–50% above off-peak rates. Sariska reserve is fully open (Nov–June), which draws wildlife visitors. Book well ahead.
