Deeper Into Antalya

Morning
Yivli Minare

Antalya's landmark fluted minaret, built in the 13th century by the Seljuk sultan. The adjacent mosque is still active, but you can view the minaret from the square.

🕐 Always visible from outside; mosque open during prayer times

💡 Best viewed from the opposite side of Kalekapisi Square, where the whole structure is framed against the old town wall. No entry inside the mosque for non-worshippers.

Midday
Kaleici district walk

The old walled quarter of Antalya, with narrow cobbled lanes, Ottoman-era wooden houses, and small courtyards. Free to wander and explore the historic architecture.

🕐 Always open

💡 Start at the clock tower and head downhill towards the marina. Look for the tiny 'Uzun Sokak' alley – it's quieter and lined with original wooden doors.
