Getting Around Ancona

Conerobus Linea 3 From €1.50 25 min

Alight at 'Palombare' stop, then it's a 15-minute uphill walk. Don't rely on this for luggage – the path is steep gravel. Buy tickets at any tabacchi before boarding.

Ancona-Falconara Line From €2.10 12 min

Varano station is a tiny unstaffed stop. From there, call the agriturismo for a pick-up (they'll come for €10) – don't walk; there's no pavement on the winding road.

Raffaello Sanzio Airport Shuttle From €5.00 20 min

Cheapest option from the airport, but you'll then need a taxi onwards to the agriturismo (about €30 from the station). The shuttle drops you at platform 10 of the bus station, not at the main entrance.

Ancona Airport Taxi From €50 30 min

Book via Radio Taxi Ancona (+39 071 28111) for a fixed €50 rate from the airport to the agriturismo. Cash only, so have euros ready.
